About The Position

Xanitos is hiring part-time Hospital Housekeepers for its Environmental Services team at City of Hope Lennar Foundation Cancer Center in Irvine, California. The role involves cleaning and maintaining facilities across the client’s healthcare campus. Housekeepers may work at any location on the client’s premises. The position includes weekends and holidays, with first- and second-shift schedules available. Qualified candidates attending the hiring event may receive an immediate job offer. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, or equivalent. Janitorial-industry experience and medical-cleaning experience are preferred. Post-offer medical screening, background screening, and a drug test are required. The job involves extended periods of standing, frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 pounds, and possible exposure to chemicals requiring special clothing or safety equipment. The work environment includes regular exposure to fumes or airborne particles and occasional work near moving mechanical parts; noise is usually quiet.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Clean and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
Sweep and/or vacuum floors.
Dust furniture and equipment.
Polish metalwork.
Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to the disposal area.
Replenish bathroom supplies.
Transport small equipment or tools between departments.
Perform other responsibilities as identified by Xanitos based on business necessities, client requirements, and applicable industry standards.
