About The Position

Baptist Health is seeking a Hospital Housekeeper to join their Environmental Services team at Baptist Downtown. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The hospital utilizes advanced UV Disinfection Technology with UV Robotic Machines to eliminate germs before manual cleaning. The position is full-time, working evenings from 3p-11:30p, with rotating weekends and holidays required, totaling 40 hours per week.

Requirements

• 1-2 years Environmental Services Experience
• High School Diploma Preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of cleaning duties as assigned, including janitorial and custodial services.
• Sweeps, mops, dusts, and sanitizes various areas such as offices, bathrooms, patient rooms, non-patient areas, procedure rooms, and common waiting areas.
• Maintains all cleaning supplies in accordance with OSHA requirements.
• Maintains a friendly and professional attitude.
• Follows safety and security protocols.
• May perform other duties as required.
