About The Position

Baptist Health, recognized as a top place to work in healthcare, is seeking a Lead Hospital Housekeeper to join their Environmental Services team at Baptist Beaches. This role is crucial for maintaining a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The team utilizes advanced UV Disinfection Technology with UV Robotic Machines to eliminate germs before manual cleaning, enhancing protection for everyone. The position is full-time, working days from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with required rotating weekends and holidays, totaling 40 hours per week.

Requirements

• 1-2 years Environmental Services Experience
• High School Diploma Preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintains a high-quality standard of housekeeping by training, supervising, and motivating department personnel to ensure all tasks and schedules are completed efficiently.
• Performs a variety of cleaning duties as assigned, including janitorial and custodial services.
• Sweeps, mops, dusts, and sanitizes a variety of areas including but not limited to offices, bathrooms, patient rooms, non-patient areas, procedure rooms, and common waiting areas.
• Maintains all cleaning supplies in accordance with OSHA requirements.
• Maintains a friendly and professional attitude.
• Always follows safety and security protocols.
• May perform other duties as required.
