About The Position

Baptist Health is seeking a Floor Technician Finisher to join their Environmental Services team at the Baptist Downtown location. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff, utilizing advanced UV Disinfection Technology. The Floor Technician Finisher will perform major floor cleaning and refreshing, along with other Environmental Services tasks, following established schedules and methods. The position also involves maintaining assigned equipment and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

• 3-5 Years Housekeeping Experience
• 1-2 years Floor Finishing Experience
• 1-2 years Hospital Experience

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma Preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs major floor cleaning and refreshing throughout the medical center.
• Performs all Environmental Services-related tasks.
• Performs heavier cleaning functions in assigned areas following established schedules and using prescribed methods.
• Maintains assigned equipment for cleanliness and recommends repairs as needed.
• Performs all other tasks which may be assigned.
