About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Support in Leesburg, Virginia, you will serve and safeguard clients in a healthcare setting. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The role includes providing customer service, communicating professionally, and responding to security-related concerns with integrity.

Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet.
CPR/First Aid certification.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and wayfinding, and report access-control concerns or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with company and site-specific requirements.
