Hospital Dialysis Registered Nurse Mid-Shift
About The Position
DaVita is seeking a registered nurse to provide dialysis care in a hospital setting for patients with end-stage renal disease and chronic kidney conditions. This fast-paced, collaborative role serves patients in ICU, CCU, ED, and other acute care units, with work across facilities as needed. The nurse delivers inpatient dialysis therapies, collaborates with hospital teams and DaVita clinical staff, monitors patients, adjusts treatment, and supports patient care with the help of patient care technicians. The schedule includes regular and on-call shifts, including weekends and holidays, and daily schedules may change based on patient needs. Dialysis experience is required.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
- Dialysis experience required.
- Must pass a color vision test; accommodations are available.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- ICU, CCU, ER, or Med/Surg experience is helpful but not required.
- CNN/CDN certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver inpatient hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis therapies.
- Collaborate with hospital teams and DaVita clinical staff.
- Monitor patients, adjust treatment, and ensure quality outcomes.
- Support and oversee patient care with the help of PCTs.
- Adapt to a dynamic hospital environment and work across hospital units and facilities as needed.
