About The Position

The Hospital Cook is responsible for preparing patient and cafeteria food in accordance with local, state, and federal standards, and must follow required sanitation policies. The position is listed as full-time, day shift, at Sarasota Specialty. A high school education or GED is preferred. The cook should be able to read and write English to follow recipes and plan menus. Five years of commercial food preparation experience is desired, and hospital experience is highly preferred.
