About The Position

At Main Line Health, accurate and accessible revenue data is essential to supporting strong financial performance and high‑quality patient care. The Hospital Billing Revenue Analyst plays a key role at the intersection of Revenue Cycle operations and Data Analytics, combining technical reporting skills with an understanding of hospital billing and coding practices. In this role, you will partner closely with our Data Analytics and Reporting team, so that you can translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for leadership. By monitoring key revenue metrics, identifying trends, and ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, you help drive improvements in revenue recognition, cash flow, payer performance, and regulatory compliance. Your work directly supports informed decision‑making and strengthens the financial foundation that enables exceptional care across our health system.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years healthcare billing experience and/or accounts receivable experience utilizing automated patient accounting.
  • Experience working with data analytics, reporting tools, or IT systems combined with foundational knowledge of hospital billing and coding practices.
  • Microsoft Office applications experience, including reporting and advanced Excel proficiency required.
  • Strong written/oral communications and problem-solving skills required.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills required.
  • High School or GED Equivalent required

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of insurance contracts, billing regulations and medical terminology preferred.
  • Knowledge of HCPCS/CPT/ICD-10 and revenue codes preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist (CRCS)
  • American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management (AAHAM)
  • Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR)
  • Healthcare Financial Management Association desirable
  • Strong preference for EPIC experience!
