Hospice Volunteer (Unpaid)
About The Position
BAYADA Hospice is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Volunteers in Burlington & Camden Counties, New Jersey. This role is based out of our Pennsauken, New Jersey office and serves clients throughout Burlington and Camden Counties. As a Volunteer, Hospice Services, you will be a vital part of our Hospice Interdisciplinary Group (IDG), providing essential support to clients, families, and caregivers. Your contributions will help ensure our clients receive care with compassion, excellence, and reliability, especially during terminal illness and end-of-life stages. This is an unpaid position.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English
- Meet all state requirements for volunteers, where applicable
- Meet the BAYADA requirements and state regulations for the discipline, if providing professional services

Responsibilities
- Assistance with administrative support at the hospice office
- Assistance with hospice events such as memorial services, patient celebrations, and legacy projects
- Assistance with home management tasks
- Providing companionship and friendship to clients
- Providing caregiver relief
- Sharing special talents, such as music or art
- Providing assistance as a transport escort, as needed
- Assisting with clerical work and other office tasks
- Memorial Service Planning
- Bereavement support to loved ones
