About The Position

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking a compassionate veterinarian to provide hospice and in-home euthanasia care to pets and families in their homes. The veterinarian supports families through end-of-life decisions, answers questions with empathy, and helps pets pass with dignity and peace. The role involves independent mobile practice with onboarding, one-on-one mentorship, and access to experienced colleagues. The service area includes Anderson Township, Indian Hill, Hyde Park, Mariemont, Loveland, Milford, and the surrounding metropolitan area. Schedule options range from two to five days per week, including self-managed part-time scheduling. Full-time schedules offer a guaranteed salary and quarterly bonus opportunities; compensation is prorated for other schedules. The employer states it does not use non-compete agreements.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), Veterinary Medicine (VMD), or Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery (BVMS) degree.
Valid U.S. driver's license.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 90 pounds with assistance.
Complete license verification, a background check, and a driving record review before the start date.
