About The Position

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is hiring an In-Home Hospice and Euthanasia Veterinarians to serve pet families across Mesquite, Balch Springs & Garland - Texas. This role offers a unique practice environment with no waiting rooms, no double-booked appointments, and no corporate production dashboards. It focuses on providing compassionate end-of-life care with ample time for each patient and family. The practice is privately held, family-owned, and doctor-led, and importantly, does not utilize non-compete contracts, allowing veterinarians to build their careers freely. This position is ideal for experienced veterinarians seeking a slower pace than general or emergency practice, those returning to work, or those building a schedule around family commitments.

Requirements

• DVM/VMD/BVMS
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to Work Independently in a Mobile Environment
• Weekend Availability (Rotational)
• Ability to Lift up to 45 lbs Unassisted
