About The Position
Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking an In-Home Hospice and Euthanasia Veterinarian to serve pet families in West Palm Beach, North Palm Beach, Boynton Beach & Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. This role offers a unique opportunity to practice medicine without the pressures of a traditional veterinary clinic, focusing on providing compassionate end-of-life care with ample time for each appointment. The practice is privately held, family-owned, and doctor-led, emphasizing a supportive environment and a commitment to never using non-compete contracts, allowing veterinarians to build their careers on their own terms. This position is ideal for experienced veterinarians looking to transition from the fast pace of general or emergency practice, those returning to work, or individuals seeking a schedule that accommodates family life.
Requirements
- DVM/VMD/BVMS degree
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to Work Independently in a Mobile Environment
- Weekend Availability (Rotational)
- Ability to Lift up to 45 lbs Unassisted

Responsibilities
- Practice veterinary medicine in a mobile, in-home environment.
- Provide hospice and euthanasia services for pets.
- Conduct difficult conversations with compassion, dignity, and respect.
- Work independently in a mobile setting.
- Be available for rotational weekend availability.
- Lift up to 45 lbs unassisted.
- Maintain professional communication with the team and families.
