About The Position

Residential Home Health and Hospice is a nationally recognized leader in home health and hospice, and a consistent Top Workplace. They are hiring a Weekend Registered Nurse (RN) for a Hospice position providing end-of-life care to patients in their homes in the Brighton area. This position is eligible for a $10,000 first year success bonus to reward the accomplishment of key milestones during the first year. The role involves delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in a hospice setting, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team dedicated to comfort, dignity, and quality of life. The RN will respond to patient needs by performing urgent assessments, managing symptoms and pain, and providing compassionate end-of-life support in real time. They will also support and guide patients and families during weekends and crisis situations, ensuring they feel informed, reassured, and cared for throughout the hospice journey. The position requires strong clinical judgment and critical thinking to coordinate care needs, respond to changing patient conditions, and maintain accurate, timely, and compliant EMR documentation. The role involves working independently, but with support, and traveling to patient homes within the assigned territory.

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse, RN license in the state you work.
  • Two years of RN experience and the clinical expertise to deliver quality patient care.
  • Current driver’s license and ability to spend ~20% of your day driving to/from patient locations.
  • Successful completion of a drug screen prior to employment is part of our background process, which includes medical and recreational marijuana.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
