About The Position

Ennoble Care is seeking a per diem Hospice Registered Nurse in the Voorhees, New Jersey area to provide care and support to terminally ill patients. The nurse helps patients approach the end of life with dignity and comfort by providing clinical care, symptom relief, and emotional support to patients and their families. The role requires knowledge of terminal care, medication administration, and strong interpersonal skills.

Ennoble Care provides mobile primary care, palliative care, and hospice services. Its clinicians visit patients at home and support people with chronic conditions and limited mobility through programs including remote patient monitoring, behavioral health management, and chronic care management. The listed compensation is $85 per visit.

Requirements

• A valid RN license to practice in New Jersey.
• Proven experience as a hospice nurse or registered nurse.
• Knowledge of nursing care processes and medication guidelines and side effects.
• Commitment to safety precautions and high ethical standards.
• Sound judgment and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A compassionate, patient disposition and emotional stability.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians and other professionals to plan care.
• Triage phone calls.
• Visit patients as needed to evaluate their condition.
• Provide support and comfort according to individual patient needs.
• Work with caregivers to plan and deliver excellent patient care.
• Help administer medication.
• Alleviate sudden symptoms of the disease’s end phase.
• Notify a doctor about a patient’s condition when necessary.
• Assist patients and their families with paperwork.
• Maintain accurate records.
• Help relatives cope with an upcoming loss and provide post-mortem support.
