About The Position

Ennoble Care is seeking a per diem Hospice Registered Nurse in the Voorhees, New Jersey area to care for and support terminally ill patients. The nurse provides comfort and emotional support, helping patients approach the end of life with dignity and peace of mind. The role involves hospice nursing care, medication administration, symptom relief, patient and family support, and coordination with physicians and other professionals.

Requirements

• Valid RN license to practice in New Jersey.
• Proven experience as a hospice nurse or registered nurse.
• Knowledge of nursing care processes and medication guidelines and side effects.
• Commitment to safety precautions and high ethical standards.
• Sound judgment and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Compassion, patience, and emotional stability.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians and other professionals to plan care.
• Triage phone calls.
• Visit patients as needed to evaluate their condition.
• Provide support and comfort according to each patient’s needs.
• Work with caregivers to plan and deliver excellent patient care.
• Help administer medication.
• Alleviate sudden symptoms associated with the end phase of a disease.
• Notify a doctor when a patient’s condition warrants it.
• Assist patients and families with paperwork.
• Maintain accurate records.
• Help relatives cope with an upcoming loss and provide post-mortem support.
