Hospice Quality Assessment/Performance Improvement (QAPI) Nurse
About The Position
St. Joseph Villas Homecare and Hospice, a premier Hospice and Palliative Care company in Omaha, Nebraska, has an opportunity for a QAPI Nurse. The duties include: Audit patient records for ongoing monitoring of documentation compliance, Perform accurate and timely clinical reviews to meet deadlines, Compile, review, analyze and graph audit data, Maintain quality data and reports, Work with hospice staff to follow up on audit results, Collaborate with Compliance Team to identify performance improvement issues and staff educational needs. Requirements
- Experience in Hospice required
- Must have attention to detail resulting in accurate outcomes
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills with a professional attitude, demeanor and appearance
- Proficient computer skills, including Word and Excel
