Hospice Quality Assessment/Performance Improvement (QAPI) Nurse
About The Position
St. Joseph Villas Homecare and Hospice, a premier Hospice and Palliative Care company in Omaha, Nebraska, has an opportunity for a QAPI Nurse. This role involves auditing patient records for ongoing monitoring of documentation compliance, performing accurate and timely clinical reviews to meet deadlines, and compiling, reviewing, analyzing, and graphing audit data. The QAPI Nurse will maintain quality data and reports, work with hospice staff to follow up on audit results, and collaborate with the Compliance Team to identify performance improvement issues and staff educational needs. Requirements
- Experience in Hospice required
- Must have attention to detail resulting in accurate outcomes
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills with a professional attitude, demeanor and appearance
- Proficient computer skills, including Word and Excel
Responsibilities
- Audit patient records for ongoing monitoring of documentation compliance
