Hospice and Palliative Care Physician and Medical Director - Riverside Medical Group, Lifelong Health - Newport News, Virginia
About The Position
Riverside Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Hospice and Palliative Medicine Physician to join our dedicated team in Newport News, Virginia. In this role, you’ll provide comprehensive outpatient care for adult patients, including diagnosis and management of acute and chronic conditions, annual wellness visits and preventive screenings, treatment of diabetes, hypertension, cholesterol, and weight-related concerns, age-appropriate immunizations, and well-woman exams and birth control counseling. You’ll work alongside a collaborative team of physicians and advanced practice providers, supported by Riverside’s robust infrastructure and strong referral network.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Successful completion of Internal Medicine residency
- Licensed Medical Doctor in the State of Virginia
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hospice and Palliative Medicine
- Valid DEA registration
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Team-oriented and collaborative approach to care
