PRN Hospice Aide

About The Position
The Hospice Aide provides comfort care to hospice patients so they can remain at home with their loved ones. As a member of the hospice team, the aide helps meet each patient's physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, supporting patients in approaching their final days with joy, peace, and dignity and enhancing their quality of life. The role is part of Compassus's patient- and teammate-centered culture, which emphasizes compassionate care, inclusion, and support for professional growth.
Requirements
- Current CPR certification is required.
- In states where licensure is not required (AL, CT, GA, IA, IL, KS, LA, MA, ME, MI, MS, MT, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, WV), applicants must either already be a licensed or certified aide, or have completed a state-approved nurse aide training program and been continuously employed in that capacity for the previous 24 months.
Nice To Haves
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) qualification is highly preferred.
