Hospice Aide
About The Position
Constellation Hospice is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for its Hospice Program. The Hospice Aide assists patients with personal care and works cooperatively with patients and their families. Aides are trained in safe, appropriate techniques for personal hygiene and grooming, including bed, sponge, and shower baths and shampooing hair in a sink, tub, or bed. Services are ordered by a physician and provided under the supervision of a registered nurse. The role serves an assigned territory and requires driving. Requirements
- Successfully complete a state-approved CNA training and competency evaluation program.
- Hold an active CNA license in good standing.
- Have a current driver's license and be willing to drive within an assigned territory.
- Have reliable transportation.
- Have basic knowledge of the iOS operating system.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of experience; hospice and/or home health experience is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
