About The Position

The Hospice Aide provides comfort care to patients so they can remain at home with their loved ones. As a member of the hospice team, the aide helps meet each patient’s unique physical, emotional, and spiritual needs and supports patients in approaching their final days with joy, peace, and dignity. The role contributes to enhancing patients’ quality of life every day.

Requirements

• Current CPR certification is required.
• In states where licensure is not required (AL, CT, GA, IA, IL, KS, LA, MA, ME, MI, MS, MT, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, WV), applicants must either already be a licensed or certified aide, or have completed a state-approved nurse aide training program and have been continuously employed in that capacity for the previous 24 months.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is highly preferred.
