About The Position

Envision Hospice is hiring a Hospice Admission Nurse to help patients and families begin hospice services with dignity, understanding, and confidence. The nurse conducts comprehensive assessments, evaluates hospice eligibility, explains hospice services and care options, and coordinates with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to support a smooth admission and transition into care. When admissions are not scheduled, the nurse provides routine patient visits, including death visits, as needed. The position serves patients primarily throughout King County, Washington, with occasional travel to Snohomish, Kitsap, Pierce, and Thurston counties. Care takes place in private homes, adult family homes, assisted living communities, and skilled nursing facilities. The schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Compensation is $52.00–$63.00 per hour, based on relevant experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
