About The Position

Responsible for assembling, diagnosing, and repairing both Cat and non-Cat hoses to customer specifications. This role involves interpreting and utilizing information from Caterpillar’s Hose Information System (HIS) and Service Information Systems (SIS) programs, preparing parts requisitions, and serving as the primary customer service contact for gathering customer hose specifications.

Requirements

• High School Graduate
• Two years of experience assembling hydraulic hoses.
• Must be able to periodically lift parts weighing up to 60 lbs.
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Must be proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assembles, diagnoses and repairs hoses according to customer specifications.
• Troubleshoots and determines proper repair procedures for failed CAT and non-CAT hose assembly.
• Inspects, disassembles, and determines parts needed and reassembles hoses to factory specifications.
• Interprets and utilizes information from Caterpillar’s Hose Information System (HIS) and Service Information Systems (SIS) programs.
• Prepares parts requisitions and other necessary paperwork.
• Serve as the primary customer service contact in assisting customers and gathering customer hose specifications.
