About The Position
Responsible for assembling, diagnosing, and repairing both Cat and non-Cat hoses to customer specifications.
Requirements
- High School Graduate
- Two years of experience assembling hydraulic hoses.
- Must be able to periodically lift parts weighing up to 60 lbs.
- Must have excellent customer service skills
- Must be proficient with MS Office.
Responsibilities
- Assembles, diagnoses and repairs hoses according to customer specifications.
- Troubleshoots and determines proper repair procedures for failed CAT and non-CAT hose assembly.
- Inspects, disassembles, and determines parts needed and reassembles hoses to factory specifications.
- Interprets and utilizes information from Caterpillar’s Hose Information System (HIS) and Service Information Systems (SIS) programs.
- Prepares parts requisitions and other necessary paperwork.
- Serve as the primary customer service contact in assisting customers and gathering customer hose specifications.
