About The Position

RNs and LPNs provide and document skilled nursing care and report to Case Managers and/or the Clinical Nurse Supervisor. In collaboration with MGA personnel, the nurse provides skilled nursing care according to each patient’s care plan and the Physician’s orders.

Requirements

• Hold a valid, unencumbered verification/license to practice the job in the state where services are provided.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Provide a copy of current TB results or a chest X-ray.
• Provide a copy of CPR certification as required by agency policy.
• Be flexible and organized, and able to exercise independent, sound judgment in performing job duties and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform treatments and administer medications according to the care plan.
• Collaborate as a team member with the patient, Physician, and health care team, and demonstrate responsibility to them.
• Identify concerns and apply critical thinking skills.
• Complete clinical documentation accurately and submit it on time according to agency policies and guidelines.
• Report on time as scheduled and complete work within the designated time.
• Follow company policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook.
