About The Position

McGregor PACE (Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly) is a community-based service program that provides in-home healthcare services to the elderly as an alternative to nursing home placement, allowing seniors to remain at home. The Homecare Nurse Manager oversees the delivery of healthcare services to patients in their homes and manages nursing staff and department operations.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• CPR and BLS certification required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Some management or leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily nursing staff activities to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Hire, train, and supervise Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs).
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Coordinate patient care with other healthcare professionals and departments.
• Lead initiatives to improve quality of care.
• Participate in department budgeting and financial planning.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations for nursing staff.
• Monitor and maintain nursing supply inventory.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient records.
