About The Position

NurseCore is seeking dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses for 8–12-hour shifts in and around Marion County, Florida. Home health staff provide compassionate, one-to-one care to people who are ill, injured, recovering from surgery or illness, managing chronic disease, or living with disabilities in their own homes. Caregivers work with patients and their families to deliver high-quality, personalized care that promotes independence, dignity, and well-being, while following applicable laws, regulations, agency policies, and professional standards to ensure safe and effective care.

Requirements

Must have ventilator, tracheostomy, and G-tube experience or be willing to learn.
Current medical license or certification in Florida.
Successful completion of skills assessments specific to areas of experience.
Current hands-on CPR certification.
Proof of negative TB test by titer or chest X-ray.
Must complete a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

Provide one-to-one home care to patients in their homes.

Work closely with patients and their families.
