About The Position

First Children Services is seeking a Homebound Instructor to provide individualized instruction to students in home, community, or virtual settings in Roselle Park, New Jersey, and the surrounding Northern New Jersey region. The instructor will deliver instruction aligned with school curricula and students’ IEP goals, adapt teaching approaches to individual needs, and communicate with families and school teams to support student progress. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling and independent work, with an emphasis on building strong relationships with students and families. Pay is up to $40.00 per hour. Select benefits, including 401(k) and support programs, may be available to part-time employees depending on hours worked.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Active New Jersey Teaching Certification or Special Education Certification.
• Comfort working independently.
