About The Position

First Children Services is hiring a Homebound Instructor to provide individualized instruction to students in home, community, or virtual settings in Roselle Park, New Jersey, and the surrounding Northern New Jersey region. The instructor will deliver lessons aligned with school curriculum and students’ IEP goals, adapt instruction to individual needs, and communicate with families and school teams to support student progress. This is a part-time role with flexible scheduling and pay of up to $40 per hour. Part-time employees may be eligible for select benefits, including a 401(k) and support programs, depending on hours worked.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Active New Jersey Teaching Certification or Special Education Certification.
• Comfort working independently and building strong relationships with students and families.
