About The Position

First Children Services is hiring a Homebound Instructor to provide one-on-one instruction to students in home, community, or virtual settings in Roselle Park, New Jersey, and the surrounding North New Jersey region. The instructor delivers instruction aligned with school curriculum and students’ IEP goals, adapts teaching to individual needs, and stays connected with families and school teams to support student progress. This is a flexible, part-time teaching role for an educator who can work independently and build strong relationships with students and families. Pay is up to $40.00 per hour. Part-time employees may be eligible for select benefits, including a 401(k) and support programs, depending on hours worked.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Active New Jersey Teaching Certification or Special Education Certification.
• Comfort working independently and building strong relationships with students and families.
