CareOne Senior Care is looking for caring and dependable individuals to provide non-medical, in-home support to clients throughout Allen Park, Michigan. As a Home Support Professional, you'll deliver personalized assistance based on each client's individual care plan. Requirements
- A caring, dependable, and professional attitude
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A valid driver's license and dependable transportation
- Current auto insurance and vehicle registration
- Ability to meet the physical demands of providing in-home care
- Ability to successfully complete a criminal background check
- Current TB test or willingness to obtain one before beginning client assignments
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in caregiving, direct care, home health, customer service, hospitality, or healthcare is helpful but not required. We welcome individuals who have a passion for helping others and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care and daily living activities
- Help with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
- Prepare simple meals and encourage healthy nutrition
- Perform light housekeeping and household organization
- Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction
- Support safe mobility and assist with transfers when needed
- Offer medication reminders following the established care plan
- Accompany clients on approved appointments or errands
- Report changes in client condition to the office
- Complete visit documentation accurately and on time
