About The Position

Wall Residences seeks full-time and part-time, experienced Direct Support Professionals (DSP's) for our group homes in Lynchburg, Amherst, and Madison Heights, VA. Hiring is dependent on references and a criminal background check free of barrier crimes. Active driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required. Requirements

• Experienced Direct Support Professionals (DSP's)
• Active driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Minimum of 3 years of driving experience
• No more than 2 moving violations or accidents within past 3 years
• No major violations within past 5 years

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with domestic tasks such as laundry, cleaning, meal planning, cooking, and organizing.
• Help individuals enrich their own lives through exploring volunteer opportunities.
• Support personal care needs.
• Provide transportation.
• Provide any needed advocacy for medical/dental appointments.
• Assist with medication administration.
• Keep accurate notes to ensure continuity of quality care.
