About The Position

Orkin is hiring a Home Sales Inspector to inspect homes, explain findings to homeowners, and recommend and sell pest-control and home-protection services. The role offers sales earning potential with base pay and commission, paid training, a company vehicle and gas card, and opportunities for recognition and advancement. No pest-control experience is required. Inspectors work independently, manage appointments and follow-ups, and represent Orkin professionally while helping customers protect their homes.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity.
Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, and similar areas.
Wear personal protective equipment, including an OSHA-compliant respirator when required.
Able to climb, crawl, and work in various weather conditions.
Able to work independently and stay organized.
Confidence, competitiveness, and a goal-driven approach; enjoys meeting people and helping solve problems.

Responsibilities

Conduct full-home inspections, including attics and crawl spaces.
Explain inspection findings clearly and recommend appropriate treatment options.
Close sales by communicating the value, protection, and long-term benefits of Orkin services.
Manage appointments, follow-ups, and documentation using a company-provided iPad.
Work independently, prioritize schedules, and maximize leads and self-generated opportunities.
Represent Orkin with professionalism, empathy, and integrity.
