About The Position

Orkin Sales Inspectors help homeowners protect their homes by conducting inspections and recommending pest-control and home-protection services. The role combines customer consultation and sales, supported by Orkin’s training, brand, and service offerings. Inspectors work independently, manage appointments and follow-ups, and use a company-provided iPad. First-year average earnings are stated as $70,000–$100,000, consisting of base pay and commission, with uncapped commission potential. Orkin provides paid training and a company vehicle with a gas card.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, and rooftops.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), which may include an OSHA-compliant respirator.
• Ability to work independently and stay organized.
• Comfort with climbing, crawling, and working in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct full-home inspections, from attic to crawl space.
• Explain inspection findings clearly and recommend appropriate treatment options.
• Close sales by presenting the value, protection, and long-term benefits of Orkin’s services.
• Manage appointments, follow-ups, and documentation using a company-provided iPad.
• Work independently, prioritize schedules, and maximize leads and self-generated opportunities.
• Represent Orkin with professionalism, empathy, and integrity.
