About The Position
Human Touch Home Health is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide one-on-one home health services throughout Washington, DC. This PRN opportunity offers flexible scheduling, allowing you to create your own schedule while spending meaningful time helping patients improve communication, cognition, and swallowing. As a home health SLP, you will work with patients in their homes, build genuine relationships, see the impact of your care firsthand, and have the autonomy to practice the way you were trained.
Requirements
- Active Washington, DC Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Nice To Haves
- CCC-SLP preferred
- Home health experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Complete speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide skilled therapy services in patients’ homes
- Educate patients and caregivers on communication and swallowing strategies
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team
- Complete documentation accurately and on time
