About The Position
Human Touch Home Health is hiring a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide home health services in Blacksburg, Christiansburg, Radford, Pulaski, and surrounding New River Valley communities. This is a flexible PRN opportunity where you can build your own schedule and provide one-on-one care that helps patients improve communication, cognition, and swallowing.
Requirements
- Active Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong documentation and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Home health experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Complete speech-language evaluations, reassessments, and discharge planning
- Develop individualized treatment plans for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Provide skilled therapy services in patients’ homes
- Educate patients and caregivers on communication strategies and safe swallowing techniques
- Coordinate care with physicians and the interdisciplinary team
