About The Position

Adoration Home Health is seeking a dedicated Home Health Scheduler to join its team in Nashville, Tennessee. The role supports the agency’s administrative and clinical operations by coordinating patient visits, communicating patient information, assisting callers, and providing general office support. The scheduler selects clinicians for patient assignments based on patient needs, location, and clinician skills, and supports the clinical manager in ensuring visits follow ordered frequencies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

High school graduate or GED.
At least two years of administrative experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer, and ability to learn industry-specific software applications.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors in a courteous, professional, and timely manner.
Assist with incoming calls from patients, staff, physician offices, referral sources, and others, and transfer callers to the appropriate person or department.
Communicate patient information to appropriate staff as needed to support a high level of care.
Select an appropriate clinician for patient assignments based on patient needs, patient location, and clinician skills.
Perform general office duties, including maintaining adequate supplies for staff and patient care.
Support the clinical manager in managing patient schedules to ensure visits are performed according to ordered frequencies and regulatory requirements.
