About The Position

Inspired Home Care, a 5-Star Agency and ACHC-accredited organization, is rapidly expanding and hiring Home Health RNs for PRN and part-time work, effective immediately. The nurse manages an independent caseload and must balance strong time management and independent work with providing each patient the time and attention needed. The role involves one-on-one care for patients in their homes and outside a clinical setting.

Requirements

• State RN license.
• At least 1 year of experience in in-home care.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Compassionate and friendly demeanor.
• Ability to travel to multiple patients per day.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred knowledge of WellSky Kinnser.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' conditions during every visit and chart observations.
• Perform evaluation tasks, including taking vital signs, reviewing medications, completing OASIS assessments, providing wound care, and delivering IV therapy.
• Dress or re-dress open wounds and assess healing progress.
• Educate patients and families on home health care strategies and procedures.
• Coordinate care with occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists, physicians, and others involved in the patient's care plan.
• Recommend devices or tools that could improve patients' quality of life.
• Listen to patients and respond to their concerns or requests.
