About The Position

AdvisaCare is seeking a Home Health and Hospice Sales Professional to serve Jackson, Michigan, and surrounding areas. The role focuses on developing referral opportunities for home health and hospice services and building strong relationships with healthcare providers and referral partners. The position offers a base salary with incentive compensation and is scheduled Monday through Friday, full-time.

Requirements

At least two years of healthcare or related-industry sales experience.
A track record of sales success in a healthcare-related industry.
Strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative and work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to communicate Medicare, home health, and hospice services effectively to all levels of the healthcare delivery team.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
Ability to travel within the assigned territory and to sales meetings.
Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
Positive attitude and strong customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a health-related science, such as nursing or pharmacy.
Knowledge of physician, hospital, case management, and discharge planning service needs.
Strong existing relationships with referral partners in the service area.

Responsibilities

Make sales calls to physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facility management, discharge planners, and case managers to position AdvisaCare to receive referrals for home health or hospice services.
Build and maintain client relationships by learning about clients’ needs and identifying ways to exceed them.
Prepare business plans and maintain target lists to support patient-centered care and business development.
Travel within the assigned territory and attend sales meetings.
