Full Time Home Health Aide - Red Bank NJ - 35 hours/wk
About The Position
FirstLight Home Care of Monmouth County is seeking a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to provide one-on-one care to a client in the client's home in Red Bank, New Jersey. The position is full-time, scheduled Monday through Friday from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m., for 35 hours per week. CHHAs start at $22 per hour, and a $1,500 sign-on bonus is currently offered. The aide will follow a personalized care plan, provide attentive care, and build relationships with the client. The role calls for someone detail-oriented and highly organized who is committed to maintaining a healthy environment and has strong verbal and written communication skills. Prior home health or hospice experience is a plus.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited Home Health Aide program.
- High school diploma or GED.
- One year of prior professional experience.
- Driver’s license.
- CPR certification.

Responsibilities
- Assist the client with daily activities, including moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles.
- Provide care by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, and assisting with personal care.
- Maintain records of the client’s care, condition, progress, or problems, and report and discuss observations with the supervisor.
- Build a relationship with the client through conversation or reading aloud to help keep the client mentally healthy and alert.
- Give medications and immunizations.
- Engage the client in exercises or other activities.
