Full Time Home Health Aide
About The Position
Village Caregiving is seeking an In Home Caregiver for its La Crosse, Wisconsin location. The caregiver provides non-medical care and support to clients in their homes, including companionship and assistance with daily activities. The position may be part-time or full-time, depending on caregiver availability and preference. The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, day shift. The hourly rate is $16 to $25, depending on experience and qualifications. Pay is semi-monthly, with opportunities for growth and advancement. A 401(k) with company match is offered after six months of employment. Employees can also access DailyPay to receive wages on the same day they work, if needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate reliability and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Provide non-medical care and support to clients in their homes, including companionship.
- Help clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare meals.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks.
- Accompany clients to appointments and errands as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of care provided.
