About The Position

Benchmark at Rye is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides to deliver care to residents in a warm, comfortable, home-like environment. Full-time opportunities are available for evening shifts from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. or night shifts from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. The listed pay is $20–$23 per hour.

The role includes assisting residents with activities of daily living, documenting care and reporting changes in health or behavior, engaging residents in meaningful activities, and providing emotional support and exceptional, meaningful care through strong customer service. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Valid CNA, HHA, or LNA license is required.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Document care provided and report changes in residents’ health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
• Use customer service skills to ensure residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Perform other duties as needed.
