Home Health Aide (HHA)
About The Position
Home Health Aides (HHA) provide essential support to individuals in their homes. They assist with personal care tasks such as bathing and dressing, provide medication reminders, and offer companionship to support clients’ comfort and well-being. HealthFlex is a nurse-founded agency serving communities across the San Francisco Bay Area, North Bay, Central Valley, and Greater Sacramento Area. Aides work alongside supportive Registered Nurse case managers, with a territory radius of 5–10 miles depending on location. The role offers flexible scheduling and autonomy in managing work hours, an individualized structured and ongoing training program, and documentation and technology solutions designed to streamline communication. Compensation is $45–$50 per visit. Mileage reimbursement and paid parking and bridge tolls are also provided. Compensation depends on factors including experience, knowledge, skills, location, internal equity, and current market data.
Requirements
- Current Home Health Aide certification.
- Current AHA CPR certification.
- Valid driver’s license.
