About The Position

EmmUcare Home Health is seeking dependable, compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical, one-on-one support to clients in their homes in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. The role helps clients remain comfortable, supported, safe, and independent while respecting their care plans, privacy, preferences, and routines. Caregivers receive onboarding guidance, training, and support from the office team. Previous caregiving experience is welcome but not required. Starting pay is $11–$13 per hour, depending on the assignment and approved offer, with biweekly pay. Scheduling is flexible based on caregiver and client availability. The position offers a 401(k) retirement plan and voluntary insurance options, including dental, vision, and PPO health coverage.

Ability to perform assigned care duties safely, with training and support.
Reliable transportation to assigned visits.

Responsibilities

Follow each client’s care plan.
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
Support toileting and incontinence care while preserving client dignity.
Assist with mobility and transfers as directed in the care plan.
Prepare meals and help with light housekeeping and laundry.
Provide companionship, conversation, and encouragement.
Offer medication reminders according to the care plan.
Report changes in a client’s condition or needs to the office.
Record completed care tasks and clock in and out using the electronic visit verification system.
