About The Position
UniversaCare is hiring certified Home Health Aides (HHAs) for home care cases in Westchester County and the Bronx. Full-time and part-time schedules are available, with day, evening, and weekend shifts. The agency is specifically seeking Spanish-speaking aides to assist Spanish-speaking clients. UniversaCare is a licensed home care agency that has served New York families for over a decade and is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Requirements
- Fluent Spanish; conversational English
- Valid New York State HHA certification
- Current physical and medical documents (within the last 12 months)
- Warm, patient and dependable
Nice To Haves
- Driving preferred, not required
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care, hygiene and mobility
- Give medication reminders and help with daily living activities
- Accompany clients to appointments as needed
- Document care and report changes in a client's condition
