About The Position

UniversaCare is hiring a home health aide to care for clients in the Bronx, New York. The starting rate is New York’s home health aide minimum wage and rises each year with it. This position offers both part-time and full-time schedules.

Requirements

• A current New York State Home Health Aide certificate
• Eligibility to work in the United States
• Completion of the background check and health screening required for the role

Responsibilities

• Help clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and moving safely around the home
• Prepare meals and help clients eat
• Keep the home clean and safe, including light housekeeping and laundry
• Follow each client’s plan of care and report changes to your nurse supervisor
