About The Position
UniversaCare is hiring certified Home Health Aides for home care cases in Queens (Jamaica, Flushing, Glen Oaks, Whitestone and nearby). Full-time and part-time schedules are available, with day, evening and weekend shifts. UniversaCare is a licensed home care agency that has served New York families for over a decade. Requirements
- Valid New York State HHA certification
- Current physical and medical documents (within the last 12 months)
- Warm, patient and dependable
Nice To Haves
- Driving preferred, not required
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care, hygiene and mobility
- Give medication reminders and help with daily living activities
- Accompany clients to appointments as needed
- Document care and report changes in a client's condition
