About The Position
UniversaCare is hiring certified Home Health Aides (HHAs) for home care cases in Westchester County, including White Plains, Yonkers, Mount Vernon, New Rochelle, Rye, and surrounding towns. Both full-time and part-time schedules are available, with options for day, evening, and weekend shifts. The pay rate is $18.99 - $19.56 per hour, with weekly direct deposit payments.
Requirements
- Valid New York State HHA certification
- Current physical and medical documents (within the last 12 months)
- Warm, patient and dependable
Nice To Haves
- Driving preferred, not required
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care, hygiene and mobility
- Give medication reminders and help with daily living activities
- Accompany clients to appointments as needed
- Document care and report changes in a client's condition
