About The Position
UniversaCare is hiring a home health aide to care for clients in southern Westchester. You’ll work out of our UniversaCare of Westchester office at 6 Gramatan Ave, Suite 609, Mount Vernon, NY 10550.
Requirements
- A current New York State Home Health Aide certificate
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Completion of the background check and health screening required for the role
Responsibilities
- Help clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and moving safely around the home
- Prepare meals and help clients eat
- Keep the home clean and safe, including light housekeeping and laundry
- Follow each client’s plan of care and report changes to your nurse supervisor
