About The Position

The Home Health Aide assists patients with all aspects of personal hygiene in their homes. The role is full-time, scheduled for days from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and serves Sussex County. Home care and hospice teams work with patients, their families, and communities, providing comfort, compassion, education, and expertise while delivering comprehensive home care and hospice services.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification.
Clean driver's license.

Nice To Haves

One year of CHHA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist patients into and out of bed or a wheelchair, to the lavatory, and up and down stairs.
Assist patients with personal care, including bathing, shampooing and combing hair, cleaning and filing nails, and providing skin care.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
